Photos:U.S and South Korea Navy missile destroyers move around Korean border as a warning to North Korea

The Navies of the US and South Korean put on
a Military show in the Sea of Japan on Monday
morning, as a display of military might in
response to North Korea's dictator Kim Jong-
Un's testing of nuclear warheads and ballistic
missiles earlier this month.
The military exercises saw the US missile
destroyer ship USS Spruance align with ships,
submarines and planes from the South Korean
navy in the Japan sea, east of the Korean
Peninsula making it the first time U.S. and
South Korean vessels have operated together in
waters so close to North Korea.
"We work side-by-side with our ROK
partners every day; we are by their side
today at sea, and we will remain by their
side to defend against North Korea's
unprovoked acts of aggression," Rear
Adm. Brad Cooper, commander of U.S.
Naval Forces Korea and Task Force 78,
said in a statement to CNN.
"Our ROK-US alliance will counter the
North Korean nuclear development and
SLBM threats with determination," Vice
Adm. Lee Ki-sik, commander of the
Republic of Korea Fleet, said in a
statement
